Actually I believe what Jeff said is right. Putting the "someday" in "to someday reach" makes this a split infinitive because the "to" is seperated from "reach." I suppose, however, that you could argue to say that this split infinitive is something that creates an aesthetic quality as this is a poem, and in poems, one can often play with syntax/grammar, a point I argued concerning my cinquain.
